Aleksandr G. Talalaev is a Doctor of Medical Science, Professor, presidium member of the International Association of Clinical Pathologists, member of the Academic Board of the Russian State Medical University. Currently he is the Chief Pediatric Anatomic Pathologist of Moscow and Head of Anatomic Pathology Laboratory at the Scientific Center of Children’s Health.

In 1966 Pr. Talalaev graduated from the A.M. Gorky Donetsk State Medical Institute. In 1974-1985 he headed the Prosectorium of the Morozov Children’s City Clinical Hospital.

Pr. Talalaev’s Anatomic Pathology Laboratory studies biopsies and surgical materials of different organs and tissues using modern methods of morphological study; performs histochemical and immunomorphological analysis, morphometry of organs and tissues, photographic recording of microsamples and cytological screening.

Pr. Talalaev’s labs contains up-to-date scientific equipment. The lab performs autopsies, morphological and cytological studies. Scientific interests of the staff lie in the fields of perinatal pathology, hepatology and gastroenterology, pediatric oncohematology.
